So corset story says their steel boned corsets have hips 10” larger than the waist. Have they changed their patterns at all in the past 2/3 years because the ones I bought from them only have like a 3” difference.
Anyone bought anything from them recently? I’m curious.
(PS I know they are crap)
Just to confirm: the standard Steel Boned corsets are 10” bigger at the bust and the hips than the waist. The longline corsets are 12” at the hip then the ones with hip gores are 12” bigger at both bust and hip
We have spent the last 12/18 months revising all of our steel boned and waist training patterns to ensure the quality, fit and structure are all improved as we regularly ask customers for their honest feedback to ensure we improve and grow in a positive manner.
Sorry to hear you have had a negative experience and feel we are “crap” though. Hopefully at some point in the future your confidence can be restored with the work we have put in to improving the product and service.
so i saw this cute corset on corset-story and i caved despite all the horror stories
this thing came way before it was supposed to. this was supposed to arrive on thursday at the earliest and i saw it in the mail today and i was like yooo
also a lot of people say it’s shapeless on them, and i can definitely see where that can come from, but i honestly love the way it looks on me
the only issue i have is with the bust area because i have the smallest boobs ever so there’s like a bit of an awkward gap between my actual breast tissue and the corset at the top, and i feel like the corset barely covers my nipples, but then again, i know i can fix that with either a bandeau or trying to wear the corset up higher.
so basically i’m satisfied this thing is cute as hell.
Looks great x

As far as I know, this design is a Punk69 (Apparently he supplier of Corset Story) original, and all corsets with this design being sold on any website will be the exact same product. I’ve never seen any designer corsets with this pattern, so I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt.
Incidentally, this is the corset that Orchard Corsets used to sell alongside their nicer-shaped offerings. As you can imagine, people weren’t too happy about receiving a Corset Story overbust when they’d expected something more in keeping with Orchard’s standards! Luckily, they’ve taken these corsets off their shelves for now.
Overall, these corsets aren’t problematic, design-wise, and are fine to wear, so long as you like the shape. However, like all Corset Story corsets, they’re not safe for training.
Just to interject here; Orchard Corset used to wholesale from Punk69. This is where there appears to be some confusion and also why designs are/were similar on both sites.
Good morning, my darlings.
While I sit here and season my Mystic City Corset, I’m going to tell you all a story. About Corset Story.
Last week, TCA received a message from a Corsets UK rep, asking for our email addresses. She wanted to clear up a few “misconceptions” we had been having about…
Worth noting that Punk69 used to be ran by the owner of Corset Whole and his business partner. His business partner subsequently left the company, taking with him Punk69, patterns, designs, photography and everything else in between and now trades as Corset Queen.
No we are NOT the same as Corsets365.
Just to confirm, below is a list of who we are and who we DO NOT associate with:
Under our company umbrella:
1) Corset-Story (please note that com, fl, nl, it, pt are all used)
It is worth noting as a company we have experienced a great number of companies, including some not added to the list, who have stolen our images, size charts, Facebook promotions, website promotions and product descriptions and who then sell an inferior product to the consumer. We disagree with this in its entirety and have been working hard behind the scenes to eliminate this problem as ultimately these companies are giving our brand a bad name.
The company we trade as is in no way perfect; in the beginning of our trading around four years ago we admittedly used wholesalers who were selling an inferior product and we quickly acknowledged this and cancelled that relationship. Since then, the company has been working tirelessly with our steel boned wholesaler to improve the quality of our corsets including boning, fabrics and style/shape as we have used hundreds of our customer feedback requests in the product development process to ensure our customers are getting the best quality corset for the price range we offer. Our in-house design team often goes to our wholesalers HQ to increase the quality of the items to ensure the product is constantly evolving for the better.
We are in no way replying to this to avoid negative reviews of our products as we believe in all customers having an opinion; and in point of fact these opinions in the last three years have enabled us as a company to constantly improve our product and evolve as a company. However, I do feel its important to set the record straight in the first instance as to who we are and who we are not as there seems to be some serious confusion in this area. If you would like to discuss your negative experience with our company or to find out more about how our products have improved for the better, please feel free to email me directly at: sarah @ corsets-uk (.) com and I will be more than happy to talk to you about this!

Thanks Issy I really appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few things with you and your team from Corset Authority and to investigate further in to the corset you took apart and the steel boning inside. Sarah x
